Josef Graubenstein. A guy with a severe inferiority complex. Discontented all the time, Graubenstein is always starting something. He's currently the Karotechia's head terrorist, since he loves to just destroy things for the fun of it. Pretty close friends with Nikolai Tarkonov, although he won't say how this friendship arose. Graubenstein was a well-known occultist in Germany prior to the ascension of Hitler.

Nikolai Tarkonov. A Russian business genius who funded many Karotechia operations. Tarkonov claims to be the mentor of Josef Graubenstein, though the truth of this and what he may have been his mentor in is unknown. Reportedly, Tarkonov worked for GRU Section 8 for a time, but for some unknown reason defected to Germany and joined up with the Karotechia. Currently, Tarkonov is the Karotechia's "treasurer," handling all the cash and making sure it gets laundered. He's a master manipulator. The PCs would come into contact with him often through financial records. If they really f**k up bad, they might even meet him face to face.

This would make him, what? 120 years old? Supposedly, all the Bischofes are German males between the ages of 45-75. Supposedly...

I like the GRU defection (it's Special Department Eight, BTW. Section 8 is
where you can find the DG humor archive :) Something interesting for
Tarkonov to contend with is the Ressurection of Albert Speer, who could
out-Logistic just about anyone in history. These two would make very
interesting rivals. Tarkonov is proably a little too old as well.

Name: Senator Michael Wolfson

Occupation: United States Representative from Oklahoma, and Ranking Democrat on the House District of Columbia Oversight Committee

Wolfson is not what he appears, as one might expect in the DG world. He was once Erich Bremmer, head of a White Supremacist group called Aryans for One Nation (AON). Wolfson was, and still is, a very charismatic man, who built the AON from a small group of fanatics into a moderately- sized, and well-organized group that has considerable influence in the American Southwest.

Bremmer was approached by the Karotechia, whose representative Michael Armstein had been watching him for some time, in Late 1989. Impressed with his charisma, and ability to both organize and to make political connections. Armstein offered Bremmer a chance to make a more long-lasting impression on the United States. Armstein offered to fake Bremmer's death, and give him the new identity as Wolfson. Further, Armstein would funnel Karotechia funds into an effort to move him up the political ladder, where he would be able to influence the country in a more immediate, and legal manner. Bremmer leaped at the chance and was +ACI-resurrected+ACI- as Wolfson, whose background depicts him as a small-town banker from rural Oklahoma.

Wolfson is now the Ranking Democrat on the committee that oversees the operation of the District of Columbia and has been working covertly to build the local drug gang war into something of more national importance. So far, things are working well, and Wolfson has been lending his political influence toward measures that, on the surfece, seem rather innocent, but actually nicely dovetail with the Karotechia's aims for America.

Wolfson has been slowly guiding the two largest street gangs in Washington, DC toward a very violent confrontation. Using his contacts in the underground arms market (gained via his time as the leader of AON), he has, using at least two corporate fronts, guided rather lethal weaponry to each gang, in large numbers. Soon, things will break out large int he Nation's Capital. Since both gangs are predominately black, Wolfson hopes this wat will raise sentiment in the general population against the young black male population of the larger cities.

Okay guys, this is the rough idea, and there are a couple details I want to work out, but let me know what you think.
