I forgot to mention that allegedly Pat had been banned in Japan,
after they noticed he only had three fingers (common to a lot
of animations), which implied he was a member of the Yakuza!

An interesting note: A plastic surgeon in Japan who specializes in making
silicone prosthetic little fingers for former Yakuza members is making
quite a fortune.
