| Green notices | give police agencies information about persons who have committed, or are likely to commit offenses affecting several countries and who may be in their territory (habitual offenders, child molesters, pornographers). |
| Grey notices | inform law enforcement of significant cases and developments in the field of international organized criminal activity. |
| Orange notices | provide information on criminal activity with international ramifications, but not involving a specific person or group. |
| Purple notices | also known as a Modus Operandi Sheet, circulate information about criminal methods of operation. |
| Yellow notices | are circulated to provide information about persons who are missing or are unable to identify themselves (including parental abductions and missing children). |
| FOPAC Bulletins | provide money laundering information. FOPAC is a French acronym: Fonds Provenant de Activités Criminelles. |
