Emerald Hammer Links to Interpol

Obviously as an international crime-fighting organization, Interpol is going to have some bearing on the Emerald Hammer, even before Libretto is formed.

Interpol is going to be informed of the existence of Reinhard Galt during Chapter 3 [Note to self, email Rob and ask him to add this in].

The records of Interpol were taken by the germans during the second world war, although I haven't researched it yet, I assume they were used to pinpoint criminals or find like-minds within the local populace. they would also have been used to identify racial groups and target people for rounding-up(?).

It is also possible that they took the personel records of important people within the Interpol structure.

Now (!) those that survive are somewhat worried to find that members of the Karotechia who may have seen their records have surfaced. Particularly as the first (Galt) shares their surprising longevity (link off to another campaign here I think).
They want Galt, and others like him stopped.

So, Special Interest Groups are prodded into goaged politicians at the U.N. A new conference on international race-crimes is started, and eventually, it metamorphoses into the Libretto Taskforce, a new area of interest within Interpol focusing on the international activities of Race-Hate Groups and others.

Chapter Links

During Chapter 5, the French chapter, hopefully, some of the racist incidents with international links are going to get some tongues wagging at Interpol HQ (Lyons!).

Libretto is formed during Chapters 6-7, and Alphonse will have issued an executive order from Cell A to the tune of "place friendlies and agents within Interpol and specifically in the Libretto Taskforce.

By Chapter 8, Libretto is active, and is sending 'advisors' [thanks Davide], PC casualties may in fact be replaced with official Interpol/Libretto agents.
Assuming their success in this arena, then the official designation of White Interpol Notices will be given over to Libretto information, if they were not successful or embarrassed Interpol in some way, they will continue to use the [Colour]/Libretto format, and the likelihood of Libretto officers having "official" sanction as advisors will be greatly diminished.
