Character Description:
Federico (but he prefers to be called Friedrich) is the son of a self-made
industrialist, based in Trento. Originally a minor element in right-wing youth
circles, his involvement with the separatist cause came in the late 80s, when
the movement first surfaced.
Tall, handsome in a slightly sinister "aryan" way, Federico is currently one of
the most vocal and strict supporters of all-out civil war againt the Italian
"colonizers".
In the last two or three years he has been growing restless, spending long hour
in the shooting range or debating the finer points of the New Order whith his
pals.
His roughly appealing character, his total dedication and his proselitizing
powers have so far marked him as one of the most useful tools Ptropaganda can
use to desstabilize the rich North-Eastern provinces (useful to stir the
national political course).
His more than average power and a streak of barely repressed sadism have also
caused the Karotechia Grey Eminence to take an interest in him as a prospect
Bischofe for the new millenium.
Roleplaying Notes:
Federico Gasser is a a rich young man, has an eye for the ladies and a sadistic
streak.
He is also a true believer of the most childish separatist propaganda - he truly
thinks that Austria is the true home of his "race", that his country was invaded
by the Romans and enslaved through the centuries by their descendants, that
Christianity is a travesty of the original "Padanian Boar God" natural religion
and tons of other such crap.
Should he discover that he has been a tool of Propaganda all these years he
would probably simply refuse the notion, turning violent and quite possibly
homicidal against the perpetrator of such a revelation.

Character Description:
Marcello started as a bootlicking jack-of-all-trades at the court of a minor
political player in the Socialist party - a man compromised in the P2 debacle.
Years of dedication, a low profile during the '92 reshuffling of the Italian
political deck and a few well placed backstabs have gained him a position as the
only connection between the Propaganda council of old crows and the footsoldiers
and backers of the structure.
He is the eyes, ears and mouth of the Propaganda masters - they see and hear
what he wants, they say what he wants, they feed through him.
Officially a real estate independent broker, Micai has recently decided to get a
definitive sistemation, and has set his sights on Elvira Bricco-Sforza, a minor
nobility young woman, daughter to a Propaganda backer and a Propaganda pawn
herself.
Roleplaying notes:
Marcello Micai is brash, bronzed and rakishly good looking.
Dresses like a million and acts the owner of the premises, no matter what.
In his mind's eye, he sees himself as a new Cesare Borgia, a prince capable of
playing all the parts against each other while enjoying the dividends. This
trait will become evident in the "Kulten" affair.
Does not know about the K. puppetmasters contrlling Propaganda, and would be
thoroughly scared should he discover the truth.

Character Description:
The Prince is a relic of the old Italian Empire dream. He served in Africa
during the colonial campaigns and remembers a world made od elegant parties and
proud difiance.
During the Regime years, the Prince was smart enough to set aside for himself a
fair share of the former Gualino empire (movie productions, services, textiles)
and a small but profitable share of FIAT stocks and, later, during the Dolce
Vita years, a reasonably wealthy russian wife.
He currently resides in his baroque villa just out of Rome where he idles the
time away.
He has placed a huge amount of his money on the Propaganda bill, as he was
convinced the P. plans included a restoration of Italian Monarchy and the return
of the Savoy dinasty.
He does not know, but part of his money are about to be used by Micai in order
to secure the Gatto-Biorghi copy of the VonJunst book.

She has recognized in Micai a fellow predator and is happy to come along for the
ride.

Character Description:
Al Bilal (clearly an alias) is a minor player in the integralist/foundamentalist
arcipelago of Moslim factions.
Basically a nonentity in his native area, he entered Italy (with the intention
of relocating in Germany afterwards) in 1987.
Headhunted by Propaganda elements masquerading as integralist supporters, he was
financed in his setting up of a definitive tool of destruction, called Dum
al-Khafil al-Alal (Death to the Foreign Infidel).
The group was involved in some terrorist activities in the Mediteranean area,
but has been so far underestimated by anti-terrorist outfits.
After 1992, Al Bilal and his men are by all means Micai's private army.
He can count on three dozens of fanatical supporters ready for anything.
