Outline
Here's a quick outline of what I've got for 3 so far, I've got all
this in word 6 format if you want a file to play with.:
Outline for MiB.
Starts with Galt being ID'd from a new security system in London.
This is real and is being piloted at the moment, but we can assume
PISCES would have a much better version running in parallel with the
official system. Computers match photo's with pictures from CCTV and
spot known criminals / terrorist / whoever. PISCES has added to the
software all the pictures of prominent members of the Karotechia they
encountered in WWII. The best method for involving the players would
be for a friendly or someone who's reports would cross the desk of a
DG agent / friendly to be observing the system for use in the US.
They forward a report demonstrating the system which includes due to a
processing glitch in the system the image and ID of Galt. They
agents thus become aware of Galt's presence in the UK. Pisces start
to observe his movements using the system as best they can. Once the
location of his base is know they begin to plan to move in and take
him out. At this point the team arrives. They obviously contact the
observer and get him to start looking out for Galt's using the system
and they get some reports of his movements. Pisces becomes aware of
this other team tracking Galt's via monitoring of the computer system
use, and decide to leave him in place to observe the unknown element
which is the DG team.
The team thus provide Galt's with the breathing space to grab the
Gothic Language expert. I'm assuming that Galt's will have to bring
him to London to get him out of the country. Assuming that Galt's gets
his person in wherever. The team then has the opportunity to discover
who this individual is and wonder why Galt's wants a Gothic language
expert. Assuming that he also has to get a copy of the Revelations of
Glaaki I'm thinking of going the route of a country house clearance
sale in Bath. A forgotten copy turns up and he or even the UK's
Bischofe is there to bid for it preferably both, that way Galt and
the Bischofe can make their escape via the Tunnels network which the
Bischofe is aware of to the underground bunker under the Thames in
London, and how to get there via the tunnel network under the river
Severn. We must assume that the Bischofe is a high ranking military
officer in the UK to provide access to the tunnels and the bunker as a
safehouse for Galt's and himself. Assuming that in the previous part
the team has had semi friendly encounters with ghouls and have the
spell contact ghoul the only option to them after following Galt's /
the Bischofe to a cemetery and seeing them enter a tunnel network id
to contact the ghouls who will furnish the team with a map of where
they are heading in exchange for a little favour. Remember the Bunker
under the Thames with the huge arsenal, well it was built right in the
middle of a huge Ghoul warren and surrounds all of the major ghoul
tunnels to the dreamlands under London, this has frustrated the ghouls
ever since, (they can't just dig through a manned installation without
attracting notice. The ghouls want the team to destroy the bunker,
allowing access to the dreamlands once again. The ghouls are
obviously aware of the tunnel networks leading to the bunker and have
access points into them.
As for your Big ending as a requirement the team blowing a bunker
under the Thames filled with munitions should cause a bit of a
surprise, and give the team a hard time to get out if we assume Galt's
had previously mined it as a trap for them. Even better if it can be
set in November around Guy Fawkes night! You can see the headlines
now "Second attempt to destroy Parliament" "Thames mysteriously drops
15 feet" until the tunnels fill with water that is. Obviously Galt's
will escape at the last moment via an escape route he has arranged
with the Gothic language expert.
Please feel free to shoot it down in flames. I'll admit that it
needs a lot of work to involve Glaaki / Y'Golonac possibly the DG
Team could encounter servants of Glaaki in the tunnels or even
Y'Golonac in the Mansion where the house sale occurs (well in the
foundations at least).
